Kai's 13th Birthday!

Happy 13th Birthday Kai!

Kai is officially a teenager!  I think I’ve been in denial, but he’s definitely getting older and has lost the cute little baby face & is growing up.  He hasn’t been home all day for his birthday because he went on an orchestra trip to Lagoon in Utah.  They won 1st place for their orchestra competition & then got to play in the park and do all the roller coasters (he’s obsessed with the huge roller coasters!). 

Kai is goofy, fun, sweet when he wants to be, and did we say goofy?  He likes playing video games with friends, and hates when people call him by his actual name.  

The latest funny story about Kai: He made a 25 centbet with a friend  that he’d do some weird dance move at school.  He did it and the kid owed him 25 cents.  Because this kid wasn’t paying him he charged him interest and ended up with $5.  When I asked Kai why he was getting $5 from this kid at soccer practice and he explained, I told him he charged more interest than credit cards do. He explained it was fine because the 25 cents was from 1st semester so the interest wasn’t really that much .  Needless to say, we’re returning the $5, but I just adore Kai.  We sure love you, happy birthday!!
