I understand big feelings. I have big feelings, we all do. But, Today Navy threw the biggest tantrum over not being able to play Willow’s kindle. She didn’t take a nap today or yesterday, so I’m sure that contributed to it. She was screaming so I told her to take a break on the couch. She then proceeded to keep screaming and then peed on the couch. After she took a bath and calmed down we talked about it and she said “I was so mad I felt the pee coming and just wanted to be mad!” Definitely something new none of our other kids have done. She then said she just needed a cuddle and she fell asleep in my lap within 5 min of getting out of the bath.
She is very strong willed and I love her for it. I love that she expresses her emotions and feelings and talks to me about it. I just wish it didn’t involve choosing to pee on the couch.
