Grandma just had open heart surgery a week ago, I came to visit her for Valentine's Day Weekend while she was just getting out of the hospital. Recovery is very rough for open heart surgery and 12 weeks is a very typical length of time before feeling "normal". I helped keep her company, washed her hair, slept on the floor to help her get to the bathroom at night, and more. She needs so much assistance with everything right now, and I'm glad I was able to help in just a small way!
