A few days ago was the end of the trimester. All 3 of the big kids got straight A's. They all worked so hard, and did an amazing job. Niko especially worked hard getting his AP Biology grade to an A- and got a 99% on his pre-cal course. Kai had his first trimester of Jr High, and did so great. Kai was resistant to going to Jr High, just like he was going into Middle School, but he has been embracing it, and did well on his first trimester of "CECA" tests!
While I love that our kids are doing well in school, I am most proud of the people they are becoming. Kalli Denning's mom sent me this poem that Kalli wrote about Willow for school. Willow is the sweetest girl and such a good friend. I love who she is becoming.
We have been noticing that Kai has so many friends and is very likable. Soo many people say hi to him and he just makes people smile and laugh. He's easy to be around and just a friend to everyone. He also doesn't care what people think and is authentically himself. He is definitely growing up in true Kai fashion.
Niko has had so many things fall through this school year-not making golf team, having his trio dance group fall through and just recently found out he didn't make it onto the club soccer team he was trying to get on. However, he keeps going and keeps trying and makes the most of the situation. He ended up creating a solo and duo piece for him to compete in and found himself a dance partner who believed in the hip hop choreography he came up with and wanted to join him on this adventure.
I love my children so much and I'm so excited to see the people they're becoming.
