Final Dance Recital for Legacy!

Willow had her final Dance performance with Legacy Dance Academy.  She's always such a joy to watch!  They performed their competition pieces (Dear Theodosia, Speed Racer, and Lemonade), as well as a new Americana Opening Piece and a ballet piece in the Wizard of Oz Ballet.  That Wizard of Oz Ballet was so cute!  (They borrowed my bike for the Witch to ride for the ballet, and Navy recognized it and was so concerned "The Witch took our Bike!!")

Willow's "Dear Theodosia" piece was a lyrical dance that's always been so beautiful to watch.  As I soaked in that this would be the last time watching her perform it, I got a little teary eyed.  The choreography, song choice and watching how beautiful she looks performing it just gets to me.  While Willow was performing it, she made eye contact with me in the audience and smiled one of her big gorgeous smiles.  I just lost it, and the emotions were big and I had a few tears.  She's just absolutely stunning, and to see how happy dance makes her, makes me the happiest person alive.  I felt such a connection with her in that moment, and my heart just wanted to burst.

I can't wait to continue watching her through the years, and I'm excited to watch her perform in a month-ish in the community ballet she tried out for Snow White.  Carmen, the director of Legacy told me today how Ms. Brianne and Ms. Amy were talking backstage during the final performance about how Willow is just such an amazing dancer.
