It's the end of Soccer Season and we're so sad! This season has been so fun! Niko and Kai were put on the same team this year because they combined U12/U14 for the first time. It was great that they started a U14 league so Niko could play soccer again since he hadn't played for a couple years. We loved watching Niko and Kai play together on the same team. At first we were worried that they wouldn't do well being on the same team, however, it was so great. In fact, we think that Niko helped push Kai to become a better player and Kai just shined during this season. He played well and he played hard. Niko was probably the tallest guy in the whole league (I guess being 5'10" that makes sense). Niko also got trained to be a ref and was able to referee for the U10 League. It was fun seeing him do his first job! He was paid $10 per game and loved doing it. There was a tournament at the end of the season and their team won first place barely! It was cute because they said "shortest kid on the team gets to get the trophy and tallest kid on the team gets to pick the treats!" That was both Niko and Kai haha. We sure love them and are proud of them and their soccer season.
Also, Navy loved yelling and cheering during the games. She's their biggest cheerleader.
Willow loved going to the games to visit with all the other little siblings and hanging out making new friends and getting lots of play time!
Can't wait for Spring Soccer Season!
