We had SO much fun in San Diego the three of us! Kai, Willow and I went on a quick weekend trip to San Diego. It fell into place, it was a spur of the moment impulsive trip-that worked out! I found cheap tickets from Idaho Falls Airport to SD, were able to stay with the Curtins and borrow their house and extra car. Everything fell into place perfectly and we had a blast!
Here are a few of our favorite memories from the trip:

*Making Willow's intense sand castle
*watching my kids play in the sand & watching the sunset on the beach with them. Simple, beautiful, happiness.
*Getting buried in the sand.
*Watching Kai in his element catching creatures and shells in the ocean.
*Riding the Belmont Coaster with Kai
*sitting in the soak zone for the dolphin show and the kids regretting it after the first big splash. "Those dolphins are SO MEAN!"-Kai
*Shark tunnel at Sea World
*the huge turtles
* Cute koalas, baby lemur, red pandas, reptile house, elephant playing with a toy trying to get peanuts at the SD Zoo
*Spending time with Uncle Nick too!

*Willow getting to see her Panda right when we were heading out
*Fireworks going off in the sky as we were landing
