Whitey, one of our parti yorkies, did not want anything to do with her 8 puppies! 2 were runts that she kept rejecting, one she squished from being careless and sitting on it, and another she purposely killed in front of me one night (vet has no idea why that occurred).
Sooooo, Johnny and I have been bottle feeding and carefully caring for 4 adorable puppies. We've got 2 little boys and 2 little girls that we feed every 2-3 hours, stimulate to go to the bathroom and weighing and keeping a close eye on. This has definitely been a unique litter with a lot of emotional stress (it's hard to see a puppy die) but rewarding to have such a close tie with these puppies and watching us successfully raise them so far!
It has definitely been tiring, waking up for night feedings to feed multiple puppies, and hard on the schedule but we're making it work and it's completely worth it.
