Out of the Mouth of Niko

(Niko made a scrunchy face)
Me: Are you ok honey?
Niko: Yeah, I am.
-pause-
Niko: I just took a booger out of nose with my hand. It's actually very hard to do.
Me: Oh, yeah I bet.

Today in the car on the way to K Mart there was complete silence until we pulled into the parking lot when Niko decided to share this:

"Mom, monkeys don't wear shirts. Monkeys don't even wear pants or underwear. Monkeys don't even wear anything at all."

I'd really like to know what he thinks about more often as he stares out the car window.


Oh, and Kai still refuses to say Mom, Mama, Mommy. It's only daddy. And he says it all the time. I'm not jealous. Whatsoever. Just saying.
