I am Erinne

~My full name is Erinne Michaelle Berardy Dunkley
(this full name was written on my college diploma and each part of my name was butchered when they said it)
~I used to hate having my name spelt different because teachers, leaders, doctors, etc would ALWAYS pronounce it wrong but now I love that it's unique!
~when I was in 4th grade I had a substitute teacher pronounce my name ERNIE. From then through freshman year of college everyone called me ernie. I love when I run into people I grew up with or went to school with and they still naturally call me Ernie without thinking about it. Sorry I don't just love it, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it.

~I have always been short, so short that my parents considered giving me those growth hormone shots they give kids sometimes...glad it all worked out!
~my feet have not grown since 4th grade!
~I've never had a cavity or a broken bone!
~You know that piece of skin that holds your lip down in the front? Feel for it, it's attached to your gums between your 2 front teeth! Well, I had that removed by a laser when I was 17 because it was causing me to have a gap. So I don't have that there at all! Niko's dentist has pointed his out and thinks he'll need his removed as well and looking at Kai looks like he has inherited that as well!

~My eyes are much lighter than when I was a kid. I used to have very dk brown eyes, close to black, and now they're VERY brown. My mom always thinks they're color contacts but of course they're not, and my husband loves the color :)

~As a child I wanted to become a writer/teacher/veterinarian

~I don't like to shop, but I love clothes. If someone could just transfer clothing into my closet that'd be wonderful

~I love dolphins

~I want to learn more Japanese!

~I received my BS in Child Development with emphasis in Education and Sociology & I would love to go to school again

~I love to learn about remodeling, interior design, etc

~I wish I could take more oceanography related classes (took 1 oceanography class at SDSU)

~I love Math and working with numbers

~I'm sarcastic, and silly and cheesy

~I fall asleep really fast and very easily :)

~I cannot stand pickles

~I love burgers

~I love adventures! It doesn't matter where or what I am up for just going places and doing something new!

~I love gardening right now! It makes me feel like a kid at heart because I get so excited when the veggies show up on the plants or when a seedling pops out of the dirt. And I love the beautiful flowers we have and will have next year. It really makes me happy and I love how something so simple can make me so happy.

~I like having long hair and love it's natural color and wave

~I love to cook but I hate the dishes that come with it..no dishwasher......

~One of my favorite things that I own is my beach cruiser bike that I've had since freshman yr at San Diego State!

~I'm a dog breeder and I really love combining business with something I grew up being obsessed with...puppies!

~I am also a housing manager for girls housing here in town.

~AND I also work 15-20 hours a week as a alarm operator. When elderly press their medical buttons, like if they fall down or need help, I'm the voice coming over the system finding out what's wrong and getting them the help they need! Love making a difference, plus I won't lie, it's kind of fun!

~I love being a mom! I love having 2 boys and I'm always so proud of them. Who knew kids could drive you crazy and make you so unbelievably happy at the same time?!

~I love that Johnny and I have grown together. We've had MANY ups and downs and I think it's because we got married so young, but we've come a long way since 2008 and we're finding out how much we really need each other and how best to support each other, oh....and how to have fun on the side too :)

~Oh yes, I was married at 18 and had my first bebe at 19, and boy was that hard!

~I'm in complete denial of how old I'm getting!

Most of all, I love who I am! There are moments and days that are hard. Very hard. Sometimes I forget how much there is to life! There's so much to appreciate whether it's something small like waking up with hair that looks good and doesn't even need to be brushed or cuddling a little toddler with the biggest smile! But there are hard days times like the month you finally feel like you get to save money and your car window gets shattered, and a million other random expenses show up?! Or you get someone filing a small claim against you for $1000 and it's just one more thing you have to add to the long list of things to deal with.

I've learned that moments are moments. They create memories, whether good or bad and are just small things in the great adventure we have here! I like defining and describing who I am because sometimes I forget when I'm so focused on being "mom" or focused on work and cleaning and everything else there's no such thing as just being "me". BUT, I'm happy to be Erinne Michaelle Berardy Dunkley with all the ups and downs that come from being who I am!
