I found these adorable candy machines for such a good deal at a garage sale that I just couldn't turn them down! I always thought it'd be fun to have a candy machine as decor in a kitchen. Niko is so excited for them to be filled with candy that he'll get to enjoy every once in awhile. I'm happy I was up and about at 7am to catch this good $5 steal.

I've been working on potty training Niko since he is three and I want him to go to preschool in the Fall. He has never been interested in the concept whatsoever and is actually kind of scared of the bathroom. I don't know how many unsuccessful attempts of starting potty training I've gone through...BUT...today was the day! I had his little potty sitting out in the living room and Niko announced proudly that he went potty (he had been pretending to earlier in the day). Sure enough he still had his underwear on but he had sat on his potty and peed through his underwear into his little potty! Such a proud mommy moment and can't wait for more progress!
