Changes Overnight?

Niko is seriously the best little being to run through the aisles of Walmart! Niko got to go to Wal Mart tonight at 9pm (gasp!)because he deserved a special treat :). He was soooo good today. He was good about getting his hair cut, didn't even shed one tear which is a BIG deal. He also was amazing with letting me cut and clean his nails and give him a bath, which are also EXTREMELY big deals!

Niko has been saying the cutest things lately too. Yesterday he told me "Mommy, I have idea, I have idea!!" With this excited look on his face. Then when I came home from birthing class he gave me a whole bunch of "presents", which were a collection of all sorts of random things like a pack of diapers, a bowling pin, dog toy, and more. Today he was playing with his letters and spelled a word. He read it out loud "A Y M - CD!" I laughed so hard, he thought he was spelling the word cd, which seems like it'd be the easiest word to spell, but of course that doesn't click for him yet :)



My big boy is such a joy and makes strangers laugh too. When we went to Wal Mart today I was looking at a bag of cereal and Niko ran to the pop tarts and yelled "Wow, I love Chocolate!" and proceeded to put a box in the cart. Of course I explained to him we weren't getting them, but a couple just stopped what they were doing just to watch the overly enthusiastic 2 yr old. Then, we went down the refrigerated aisle and Niko ran and opened the door for luncheon meat, cut in front of these college girls and grabbed bologna. But not just one, he balanced FOUR packs on top of each other and walked over to the cart. I could not help but bust up laughing. That crazy boy is so fun and life would sure be boring without him!
