Updates

Wow, it's already the end of January?! Well here are a few little updates, nothing too exciting, so hopefully that's ok :)

My belly is still growing plenty and I feel him move all the time! I'm set on the name Kai, but I don't want to say that that's "the name". It's always subject to change, I figure I still have a few weeks to decide and I definitely want a name picked out way before I go to the hospital!



Currently I'm doing a temporary job homeschooling an 8 yr old. It's actually been pretty fun and time flies. We just started on multiplication and it feels good knowing I'm making a difference in someone's life!

Niko is as silly as ever and growing up way too fast! Communicating with him has become so much easier lately. This evening he was being so cute, he must have said at least 20 pretend prayers kneeling on the ground with loud AMENS! Gotta love Sundays..

I got to see my old friend Lindsey last week. I hadn't seen her since around her wedding which was about a year and a half ago. We had a lot of catching up to do!



This is really random, but yesterday I got a great deal on some cute clothes! I went to Panache on Mainstreet and got an adorable coat, cardigan, button up shirt, and skirt for pretty inexpensive. When my total came to a higher price than I had wanted to spend, I was comparing 2 items back and forth trying to decide which one I'd have to turn down. The store owner told me he'd take $6 off my purchase if that would help me to get both! How awesome is that?! Totally made my day and I love feeling cute in my clothes even while prego!

Lastly tonight's dinner made me smile inside. My friend Leah sent me home today with a pack of seaweed. This might sound disgusting to some, but I LOVE seaweed with my rice. As soon as I got home I cooked up some rice and miso soup that I'd happened to buy earlier in the week. Haha I'm so ASIAN, but that was the most perfect meal ever.
